This Privacy Policy describes how IntraSafe ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use IntraSafe (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account registration information (name, email address, organization name)
- Phone number (used for SMS notifications as a backup delivery channel)
- Profile and configuration data (team zones, roles, preferences)
- Communications you send to us (support requests, demo inquiries)
- Payment information processed through our payment provider (Stripe)
We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, including:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- Usage data (features used, alerts triggered, session duration)
- Location data (only when you explicitly check in during an active service session)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
- Send SMS text messages for security alerts, shift reminders, and coordination notifications when web-based delivery is unavailable or for critical alerts (you may opt out at any time by replying STOP)

3. SMS Text Messaging
IntraSafe offers optional SMS text messaging as a backup notification channel. This section describes how we handle SMS-related data.
Information We Collect for SMS: When you opt in to SMS messaging, we collect and store your mobile phone number, your SMS consent status (opted in or opted out), the date and time you provided or withdrew consent, and records of SMS messages sent to your number for delivery verification and compliance.
How We Use SMS Data: Your phone number is used solely to deliver security and safety alerts from your organization, shift reminders and schedule notifications, team coordination updates from organization administrators, and backup delivery of critical alerts when push notifications are unavailable. We never use your phone number for marketing, promotional messages, fundraising, or any purpose unrelated to your organization's safety coordination.
SMS Data Sharing: We do not sell your phone number or SMS consent data. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Telnyx) for the sole purpose of delivering messages. Our SMS provider is contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose. We will not share your SMS opt-in or consent status with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of this campaign. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Opting Out of SMS: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting us at support@intrasafe.app. We update your consent status immediately and cease all SMS delivery. We retain consent history for compliance auditing as required by telecommunications regulations.

4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who assist in delivering the Service (Supabase for database/auth, Stripe for payments, Telnyx for SMS delivery)
- Your organization's administrators — organization admins can see member activity within their org
- Law enforcement when required by applicable law or legal process
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@intrasafe.app. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and browser storage to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@intrasafe.app.
10. Changes to This Policy
