For decades we've served as business leaders, community organizers, and volunteer church leaders. And for just as long, we've carried a quiet concern — have we truly prepared ourselves and the people around us to respond when something goes wrong?

Not the emergencies we plan for. The ones we don't.

Built not from a boardroom, but from years of standing in lobbies, parking lots, and sanctuaries — after the drills, after the close calls, after the long conversations about what we'd do if something actually happened. And always, underneath it all, the quiet but heavy weight of responsibility for the people in our care.

We've built and scaled businesses from zero to hundreds of millions — and we've learned that growth without intention creates complexity that crushes the people it was meant to serve. So we made a different choice. We kept the team small, the costs low, and the focus sharp. Not because we had to. Because we wanted to build something with a real and lasting impact.
